He holds a Ph.D. in environmental sciences and works as a postdoctoral fellow at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. His research focuses on sustainability implementation, tools, governance and stakeholder engagement in sustainability and transition issues. Over the past twelve years, he has worked with various local, national and international organizations on sustainable development issues, in addition to developing sustainable development strategies. He is a recognized expert on the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. He is currently working in partnership with several Canadian port authorities to align the SDGs in the port industry.
